Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opted to chase. Additionally, Karachi Kings were not good in the batting and only gave a 165-run target to Quetta Gladiators to chase.

Karachi Kings came to bat first and lost a big wicket on the first ball. Matthew Wade went back to the dugout as Naseem dismisses him with great intent. But Adam Rossington had a wonderful night. Karachi Kings got to make 53 runs at the end of the powerplay despite losing a wicket. From the other end, Tayyab Tahir looked good for a couple of shots.
Tayyab was hitting the boundaries and taking the runs for his team. But then he tried to go big but the ball went straight to the fielder. Iftikhar Ahmed is facing real issues since the start of HBL PSL 2023. He was performing very well in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). But here in his native cricket, he is failing to show some good batting. Najeebullah Zadran, who played impressively in QG’s previous match against Islamabad United.
