Additionally, the bowling attack from the well-known spinner Rashid Khan was outstanding tonight at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Rashid contributed not just in bowling but also in batting. Kamran Ghulam who played in place of Shawaiz Khan was also outstanding for his major 41 runs contribution.
In contrast, the bowling and batting attack from Islamabad United was not satisfactory in this match. The fans of Islamabad United must be furious at their team for such a shameful defeat. The fielding performance was also below average by them except for the fact that they are still in second position in the points table of HBL PSL2023.
Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars proved once again why are the table toppers. Fakhar Zaman with an amazing century for the second time in the HBL PSL8. He turned himself on to entertain the crowd at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. Fakhar scored another hundred runs from just fifty balls breaking his own record.

Such an amazing showdown at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in match 26 of PSL 2023. Lahore Qalandars started off batting destructively. However, they lost the wicket of Abdullah Shafique early. But it did not affect the slightest bit to them as Fakhar Zaman kept on hitting. Fakhar’s inning ended with him scoring 115 runs that included 8 massive sixes and 8 good fours. He struck his century at a strike rate of 200.
Kamran Ghulam who came in place of Abdullah Shafique batted impressively as well. He was sitting on the bench for Lahore Qalandars since the start of the PSL 8. But they decided to take advantage of him in this match. Kamran played a good inning of 41 runs from 30 balls.
In addition, Sam Billings is proving to be very profitable for the Qalandars for his amazing batting and stumping. He made 32 runs from 22 balls in this match against Islamabad United. Sikandar Raza did not get to play much, but he could have also been bad luck for Islamabad United. The same goes for David Wiese who got out on his second ball after hitting a massive six.
World famous, Afghan-cricketer Rashid Khan is performing great through this season of the Pakistan Super League. He had a four-wicket haul in this match after he scored fifteen runs off five balls during batting. Such a good all-rounder who knows how to play without any pressure at any point in the match.
Because it was not the batters, it was Rashid Khan as they were world-class batsmen including Shadab Khan, Asif Ali, and Faheem Ashraf. Moreover, Zaman Khan also had a spectacular bowling spell in this match. He send two batters of Islamabad United back to the dugout which could have been dangerous for Lahore Qalandars. Haris Rauf also took two wickets because of his fast-pace bowling as always. He is a true wicket-taker produced by Pakistan.
