Peshawar Zalmi did not justify the way they opened at the end of their batting. Because the team fell apart and five wickets were picked by Lahore Qalandars in the last two overs.
But apart from the downhill from the 17th over, Saim was amazing. Peshawar Zalmi started off really well. There were some outstanding knocks by the youngster and Babar was his perfect teammate. Moreover, Saim Ayub gathered 68 runs from just 36 balls. His brilliant inning ended with having 3 sixes and 8 fours. Furthermore, his strike rate was 189 at the end of his batting.

Similarly, Babar Azam contributed great 50 runs off 41 balls with some feel-good cover drives. He was not performing well in the previous matches of PSL. But Kohler-Cadmore continued with amazing boundaries including 3 massive sixes and 2 fours.
Later on, Rovman Powell kept the momentum going as he played a brief inning of 9 runs with a good strike rate. Haseebullah Khan also played very well but also got out early after making 12 runs only.
After this point, the match went into the hands of Lahore Qalandars as they picked up seven wickets in the death overs. Shaheen picked three wickets in the second-last over. However, Haris Rauf picked up two wickets as well. Zaman Khan in the end finished it for Peshawar Zalmi. The whole batting lineup was dismantled in the two overs.
