Afghanistan clinched the first T20I series against Pakistan by 2-0. History set by the Afghani cricketers who successfully took the win for the first T20I series against Pakistan. Rashid Khan‘s brilliant captaincy brought out the best in Afghanistan team players. In contrast, Pakistan once again loses another in a T20I series. However, there is still one match left for Pakistan to show what they’ve got.

A historic moment for the Afghan cricket family and fans as they successfully clean sweep Pakistan in the T20I series. Furthermore, Afghanistan had to chase in both previous matches but it was very easy. Because first they bowled and bowled brilliantly. Pakistani batsmen were puzzled by the Afghan bowler on the pitch of Sharjah Cricket Stadium, UAE. Only Imad Wasim was able to score good runs and achieved his maiden T20I cricket fifty!
But in the previous two matches against Afghanistan, Pakistan has been very unproductive. The idea of introducing young players turns out to be non-beneficial. None of the players from Pakistan who made their debut in the T20I performed except Ihsanullah. The captaincy has also been really illogical and made no sense in any way. Shadab must take some thoughtful steps if he does not want to destroy his image in Pakistan cricket.

Match 02 Summary
Match 02: Pakistan won the toss and once again decided to bat first. Shadab’s call to bat first had already proved to be bad in match 01. He should have learned from the previous match instead of getting into his emotions. Pakistan’s batting lineup which consists of debut young players failed once again to score a good target.
Afghanistan needed 131 runs in 20 overs to win and they did it in the last over. One can say that Pakistan bowling tried to win but the target was not enough. Therefore, Najibullah Zadran took the win for Afghanistan in the maiden T20I series against Pakistan.
